I'm in Brisbane again for the second time in a month. Oh well think positive Liyana! Allowance is alot for Brisbane.

So I've turn a year older 2 days ago. And the joke was that, after half a day gone my parents just realise that it was my birthday! And along I was at home, they had forgotten. They called me when I was outside with Fadzly to wish me Happy Birthday. How cute are my parents!

It was nice to spend time with the love ones. Met the boyfriend in the afternoon. He was late because he was making me a birthday card. Thanks for the card syg!

I got myself a new lens for the camera. The lens can take awesome portrait photos! Thank to Fadzly for calling up all the shops to ask the best price they could quote.

We break our fast at Meatworks in ION. Wanted to try the steak but since my tummy can't really eat alot, me and Fadzly settle for the burgers instead. And we still can't finish our food.

Went to buy the carpet for my mum at Geylang Baazar and went home early because I have an early flight the next morning -_-"

When I reached home, none was at home. My family went out to get me a birthday cake! They surprised me with the cake when I was watching tv in the living room that night.

It's been so hectic! Oh well i guess it's not new to me anymore. My house smells like serunding factory! hahah It's been taking a toll on me. I have to go on flights and also help the parents with the business when I get back home. I need my holiday soon. -_-"

In other news, the boyfriend turn 22nd this month. And in a few more days, it'll be mine! Didn't really plan a big one though because i got home from brisbane in the afternoon and met him afterwards in the evening to break fast together. Finally manage to bring him to Nabins! Been wanting to bring him to the cosy restaurant and so I decide why not celebrate his birthday there.

Wore the scarf for the day since we wanted to go to the mosque to perform our mahgrib prayers first before having our dinner.

I realised I didn't bring my wallet when I was searching for my wallet to donate into the tabung masjid. And so I called my mum if it was at home. Fadzly end up paying for everything that night. Such a bad gf!! I wanted to treat him la.

For the first time ever, I saw this petite guy eat! Like really eat alot! It's really hard to see him finish his food. But this time, he ate almost everything! His reason- because the place is very comfortable. hahah

There's a 1 hr difference here in Narita, Japan. Manage to get some sleep after landing here around 8 am in the morning and now I'm widely awake. And since I'm awake, might as well do something. Heh

So the other day, I got to visit Amsterdam the second time. And since the crew wanted to go for the tour, I joined in. It was definitely an eye-opener to see the cheese market, the windmills and also how they do the wooden clogs! It's always fun when you have nice company for the stay.

Manage to visit Incheon last month! Can't do or go anywhere because the layover was too short. Just followed the crew for dinner at Myongdong. I didn't even shop much either. Maybe because I'm not attracted to korean brand cosmetics or better still, I tend to not use make-up or beauty products.. Hhahaha

I am currently very sick. Took the mc so that i could rest at home. Been popping them pills in. My whole body just feel like crumbling down. I haven't seen the bf for almost 2 weeks now. Haiz... Maybe i need a break from everything.

So this post is about some photos i took in australia station. I love doing Australian flights. Maybe because of how friendly they are. I love how casual and carefree they are. They can just talk about anything to you and don't seem fake about it. They are really nice people. I can't believe I didn't get to go Perth the other day. When I am in Male, woke up early and got the chance to catch the sunrise and also snorkel around the sea. It was definitely an eye opener. The beach was so clear that I could see my own legs in the water. Masya'allah!

Hey there! How are you?

Juggling really badly on how to manage my time because seriously my schedule is so pack for this month and also for the subsequent month. I don't even have time to go and have my brows done! haha Anyways, it's aba's birthday today! Lucky for me, i'm off for today so we gonna celebrate it later when Abang comes home from work. Oh and what did i get for my father?! I cooked for him chicken wrap! and he said it's much much more delicious than the outside kebabs! wahahaha

Oh just wanna share with you guys a new place that me and fadzly went to! We are really into finding new places to hang out and go to or even nice places to feast on! The place is called Strictly Pancake. Yes that's right, the shop only sells pancake all day long! So if you are a pancake lover and can't wake up in time for macdonalds hotcakes, just go over to Strictly Pancakes! Their pancakes are fluffly and light. You can choose from a variety of menu- either the savoury ones or the sweets one! Just to warn you in advance, the servings can be quite big for one person..

The place is 2 storey high. And on the second floor, there is some sofas so that you and your friends can have a comfortable time hanging out!

The chicken is quite dry but when eaten with the cream sauce, it was ok.

And fadzly being the sweet tooth, ordered the What A Spread!

It is a peanut butter pancake and in between the pancakes, they spread on nutella on it! It was very sweet and creamilicious!! The servings were too big that we didn't manage to finish our own meal!

Blog spam!! So I'm updating the blog the second time. That pretty means I'm getting the hang of using a mac!

Last weekend, drag the boyfriend to get my new computer since the great singapore sale has just started. But the prices were the same because i guess it's controlled price everywhere. And then we went to the museum since it's international museum day! Entrance to the museum is free! So we do what we do best! Taking photos!!!!

I am posting this post with my new laptop!! Wooohoo...
Kinda complained to my boyfriend if I made the right decision buying a mac when i've been growing up using windows. I'm still a noob in using a mac. Well iphone is a mac but it was way more easier to getting around using it. The comp is a little bit more complicated than i thought but i'm really trying my best to learn the nooks and crannies of using this new comp.

In other parts of my life, been wanting to update about my life in here, but i keep procrastinating! Too many things are going too fast for me to grasps things and suddenly it's already the month of June. Time just flew pass me when i'm travelling. So far, i've been getting use to my job. Like what they say, it's not a job, it's a lifestyle! No more jitter bugs when i check into the control centre anymore!

In another aspect of my life (the social life), managing my time has never been so tedious. After all, you can naver make everyone happy all the time. Got to meet up with the favourite people last week! It was Alia's 22 and I made tiny surprises because looking at her surprise and slenge face is always funny! AND NO SABOING this time, only kacau daun on her date with a boy.... hehehe sorry Alia!

Met up with her over a nice breakfast at mcd and passed her present! And Siva joined us for a short while after that.

The next day was the suprise celebration for Alia. It was unplanned but kinda an impromptu thingy for me. Best laid plans are sometimes not the best but just going for it at that moment of time works for me.. heh.. Had a small gathering with people I adore most!

People I'm in Dubai right now. My very first time! Currently just lazing around in the Crowne Plaza after having a very very heavy breakfast in the hotel room! Well basically that's how my life goes about everytime i'm outstation. Going for the desert tour later with 2 of the crew. Woohoo!!! Sand here I come!

Talking about sand, there was a sandstorm in Riyadh yesterday night that made my shuttle flight to Riyadh being diverted to another international airport as the airport in Riyadh was closed down because of the bad weather. We waited for almost 5 hours in the plane basically doing nothing. And because of the bad weather, I had a scared of my life because i experienced the most worst turbulence. It was more terrifying than a roller coaster! My freaking heart and lung felt like it can jump out of my body anytime. It was that bad. But the crew was nice as to comfort me and even laugh about it. Like they say, free roller coaster ride! WTF!!!!

Oh well i guess this is the downside of being in this industry. What are the chances of having a bad weather right!

It's April already. It's been a long time since i visit this site of mine. Oopsie daisy!

My life has change ever since the new year. And each flying journey that i go through, I learned new things and I experienced new stuff and not to forget meeting people from all walks of life. For now, let me just embrace everything that comes in my way. No doubt about it, there are the pros and cons being in this industry. I just have to stuck it up, eat the humble pie and smile always!

Oh before I start on my career, I had a 1 week leave off. Decided to go Bali for the second time for a short getaway. 4 days 3 nights are too short for me. Wish it was longer. Nevertheless, Bali is still one of the most beautiful city. Nice people and nice scenery! Would definitely come back there again just to chill!

Was suppose to have a nice little picnic by the beach last Friday but because the weather didn’t permit us to have one, we found ourselves back in our old school! Ahhh, such memories… hehe I miss the flower-plucking friends… Playing taitee using uno card, always in breadboard eating maggi goreng and not in the lab to do our final year project. Easy life!

Oopsy daisy! I haven’t been updating this webpage for awhile now ever since the new year. A lot of things are going on but I still manage to divide my time for my love ones. At least I hope I do. The training is coming to an end… not now but soon…….. Am I scared or nervous? Hell yeah! hahaha It really seem surreal to me. This job haven’t really sunk into me yet because whenever someone ask me what I'm doing now, I just go blank! hahah and shyly say cabin crew?

Oh managed to lug my camera the other week when I was out with the boyfriend! I whined to him that we haven’t had photodates for awhile now. hehe Since it was raining the other week, we spend our time in a small ice-cream shop at Katong called, Little Ice-Cream Kafe, LICK! The ice-cream was so-so. Still prefer, Scoop Of Art. The Mars bars and sea salt gelato ice-cream is to die for!!!!

His is the waffles with teh tarik ice-cream. Weird flavour! Mine is the crepes. Forgot the flavor of the ice-cream.

Hmm since I'm undergoing training now, I don’t think I have anything interesting to update about. Even if it is exciting, I am obliged to post it publicly no matter how much fun I have in training school. The batchmates are fun and very caring I must say :) So i guess i shall blog about past events since I haven’t update it yet.

Our first year. We’re not the kind of couple that celebrate monthly anniversary. Sometimes we even forget about it. How silly! But since this was our first year, we make it a point to actually acknowledged it by having a mandatory date.. hehe We wanted something different for this date thus we splurged a little bit.

And I even dressed up for the date with full make-up on which is rare. Oh well but now I guess I’m getting use to blue eyeshadow and red lipstick -_-“

Guess where we are already? We went for a 3 course meal at the sky dining!

Appetiser. The soup was nice. I finished mine and took some of Fadzly’s. Both of us didn’t like the cold dish salmon. Not to our taste bud preference.

Yes the main course was this big! Worth money spent.. haha We didn’t finish it. The first is slow cooked beef cheek. It was overseasoned thus it was too salty but nevertheless still nice. But we both loved the pan-grilled fish. It was really big and nice. No fishy taste whatsoever.

Night scene. We got a transition sight. From evening to night. It was a nice dinner to just spend time with him at the top.

Dessert! A simple cheesecake. Yummy! For the first time, Fadzly finish his cheesecake for someone who is not a cheese lover.

We exchanged our gifts during dessert.

He bought for me the Bon Jovi and My Chemical Romance cd! And this boy cried seeing my gift! Too sweet isn’t he… I made him an album with all our beautiful pictures in it. Terharu katekan! hahah

phuket day 3

So this post has been in my draft for quite some time. hehe Let’s get this out of the way. Too many things has happen in the shortest amount of time. I have to adapt to many things. Let’s just say, December has been a shock to me because everything that is happening seem surreal to me. I could only dream of it happening last time, but to go through it now.. It really feel like i could achieve anything when i put my mind into it. Haha ok mcm shiok sendiri pulak!

Back to day 3 in Phuket! Day 3 was just lepak day for us. We spend our morning and afternoon lazying around on the beach.

After spending half of the day out in the beach, we decide to go to the mall- Jungceylon! Where we went crazy shopping at Boots. It was crazy cheap and i bought like lots of Soap & Glory stuff because it’s cheaper there than in Sephora here in Singapore.

We had our dinner in the hotel because it comes in our holiday package. We couldn’t finish the spread of food the hotel has prepared for us because it was too much! Worth the money i guess.

After dinner, since we still have some money left, we went to a pub to catch a live band and also did some last minute shopping around patong. When we were on our way back to hotel, we saw a familiar face. heh

phuket day 2.

Boo! Waited much? hehe
So on day 2 in Phuket, we ventured out to another island- Phi Phi Island! Do you know that the Maya Bay near the phi phi island was actually made famous by the movie The Beach. Cool huh! We could just admire and be in awed by the beautiful scenery. It takes about 1hr 45 mins to reach Phi Phi island from Phuket.

The ferry brought us around the island- Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Ley. Above you see is the viking cave now home to bird nest producing swallows.

After going around the islands, we stop in the middle to have our snorkeling session! First time for Fad! But i still prefer the one in Redang. More things to see. The fishes here are like piranhas... Put a piece of bread on your hand underwater and they will come surrounding you.

After snorkeling, went back to phi phi island port to have lunch at the hotel. It’s all included in the package.

Shopped for awhile since we still have time before our departure.

They served wickedly sweet pineapples I've ever tasted. And i took quite a few.. Free, ameklah ape lagi!

On our journey back home, it rained. So we had to stand at the bottom deck.

Reached the hotel. Washed up and change for a night out in Patong. We had a light dinner at a nearby Lebanese restaurant. Just a few walks away from our hotel and you can find lots of halal Arabic restaurant lined up. So food wasn’t a problem for us there. They served cheap and nice food too.

After dinner, we decide to pamper ourselves abit. Fad wanted to braid her hair so while waiting for her, i got myself a cheap and good manicure.

The night was still young, so we went to Hard Rock Cafe. Love the band and love the people there. The tourists in there was so friendly and awesome and they really know how to party! We were the only Singaporeans and some were from Australia, Canada and even Russia.

The awesome head banging band! They interact well with us.

Bummed out after rocking out and had a good night sleep on the 2nd night of the trip.

phuket day 1.

This year has been eventful I must say. I found myself going to holidays more often. And i love it! The perks of working with the father is that I can get leave anytime i want! Awesome! Went to Beijing in March. Went Batam twice, one with Fad and another one with the family. Get to go to Genting again. And recently, went Phuket with Fad! Fadhilah has officially become my holiday buddy, because she is always available when i decide to go for a holiday.

1 and a half hour later, we’re in Phuket! Greeted by this! See my name!! Feel so privilege. A big van with just us to go to the hotel. The Royal Palm Beach resort- “Just a few step to the beach & Patong nightlife”

In day 1, basically we managed to see the whole of phuket. From the town to the rural areas. We found ourselves a very good taxi driver which brought us to all the places we needed to see in phuket. From morning till night, he charges us for only 300 baht- that’s like $13 only. I mean that’s like the cheapest taxi fare ever- from one end of phuket to the other end. Good deal i must say!

The first place he brought us was at the peak of phuket- Karon view point.

Postcard worthy photos! Blown away by the view. It was a perfect picture. Too bad it was quite windy and hazy so the picture taken was quite cloudy. Nevertheless being up there was just beautiful. Oh and the weather in phuket wasn’t that sunny so we didn't really get sun burnt. It was windy- nice weather!

Our stomachs were already grumbling by noon because we both didn’t have a heavy breakfast that morning. So we begged Charlie (the taxi driver) to bring us to a halal place that serves cheap and delicious tom yam! Afterall, thailand are famous for its tom yam.. He brought us to a small hut house which i must say serves the most delicious thai food that we ate in our 3 days there. Definitely very cheap! 1 fried rice, 1 phad thai (very nice!!!!!) and a bowl of tom yam- 160 baht… Only $7.00!!! I love the phad thai!!! Gosh i miss the food. And the tom yam was just, once you put a spoonful of tom yam soup in your mouth, you’ll just go speechless. The soup was so clear, but the taste was perfect. Everything is enough- the salt, the sweetness, the hotness… It was just heavenly!!!!

After lunch, Charlie wanted to bring us to go elephant riding. But me and Fad were contemplating whether we should or not because frankly i was scared. hehe But since Charlie said that we should try, we had to. haha No backing out! My first time on an elephant. Thrilling! We took the shortest time ride- 30 mins. But that 30 mins felt like 1 hr. Gosh, we were practically squirming and squealing in the back of the unprotected seats on the elephant.

Even though we were smiling in that photo and many other photos, we were actually scared to death because we were on a cliff. And Cherie will always go to the edge of the cliff that make us go screaming. And the nice part was that the elephant trainer actually get down from his elephant and just left us on the elephant while Cherie just wander off on the cliff with us at the back. The elephant trainer will take lots of photograph with my camera.. Very aspiring photographer because almost all the photos were nice.

After the elephant ride, we went shopping! Went to the outlet stores. They have various stores from adidas to rip curl to ed hardy. You just need the money! haha

I feel like we were shopping in australia. haha During the day, just 1 plastic bag. By night with aching feet and many plactic bags, I spent quite alot! haha

At night, we went to Phuket Fantasea! I highly recommend you guys to go there if you were to go phuket because it was really worth it. The elephant show was just spectacular. We got the best seats which was way up front because Charlie had booked the tickets for us. The whole theme park was just magnificent. You get to see exotic animals like the white tiger and also have a makeover like a thai princess! Every corner of the themepark, you’ll just find yourself gasping and your jaw dropping.

Security check before going in the themepark. I can’t even bring my phone and my camera when we went in for the show.

The elephant show ended quite late so by then we were so tired that as soon as we reached the hotel, we headed for our beds to sleep.

Just came back from a short trip to Phuket with the bestie! It was awesome and even though it’s my second time there, we had plenty of first experiences there. Will update more about the trip soon. As for now, there’s like about 500 worth of pictures that i have to look through! So stay tune ya.

Alia had no idea where to go for the meet-up so i suggested going to Heaven’s Loft for Ben & jerry’s. Fad brought me and Nurul the other time. Thanks to Fad for the share! Well nobody would say no to ice-cream right and sitting at the roof top amidst a live band playing(which was literally in front of us) was a nice idea.

It was couple’s night out!

Alia and I had something up our sleeves. We wanted to surprise eel for her belated 21st birthday. So we asked the staff from Heaven’s loft to bring out the surprise cake along with the live band singing a birthday song for her! I know cheesy right!!! Alia what were we thinking?!!! so kental la!

Now everybody together say “Awwwwww!” hehe Finally a decent photo of the 2 of them. They would always make wacky faces for their shots.

Went to Batam the other week with the family. The elder brother was missing as he had to work. But we still had a blast. The 3 hour body massage was what I really need! I went crazy shopping at the Matahari departmental store. All the clothes there were cheap and pretty. And also the ayam panyet were so delish unlike the ones here.

Eating like japanese style. The daging empal was so soft! And that’s the rice wrapped in the banana leave.

Been awhile since i had photo dates with the boyfriend. I miss figuring out together on which settings to use on the cameras.

The last time we had such date was on mid-august. Dolled myself up (which is rarely but becoming more addicted to make-up and girlish clothing) and hopped down to orchard rd for some shopping therapy.

I shall do my very first outfit of the day post because I liked what I was wearing on that day.. Heh

I bought these when i went to ikea with my mum the other day. There’s something about cactus that just intrigued me. Love the beauty of the plant.

Been very busy during this month. There’s too many stuff to do and too little time. Time just seem to be ticking so fast and everything has to be done in a rush. Let’s just hope my body has time to recharge itself. I need a break. Soon.

My birthday celebration was just a simple one. Treat the whole family to a scrumptious supper at simpang bedok after terawih. Still can’t believe i’m a 20-plus. Bluek! Naww!!!! I still feel young. haha

Manage to go out with the boyfriend despite the busy schedule though. Oh wait, it was the first week of ramadhan so i wasn’t that busy.

I’m craving for koi bubble tea!! Now i know what is all the hype about the koi bubble tea because it very nice!

Without fail, i would always somehow end up watching the fireworks during national day even though to me, it’s always the same thing every year. No matter how the news will tell us that the fireworks are going to be much much more magnificent than the previous years, it is still the same. At least to me..

This time round, we went to fort canning park to watch the fireworks because in the previous years, me and eel accidentally to be near that area and the ndp was having rehearsal thus we got to see the fireworks! And since, there was no one there who knew about our little discovery, we decide to walk from city hall to fort canning park to avoid the crowd. Well there are some high buildings that blocked our view but we still get to see it!

At exactly 8.10pm, these patriotic people said the pledge and sang the national anthem. heh Oh wait aren’t those palms suppose to be in a fist?! Hello at least do it right!!! Buat malu je jadi orang singapura tau! hahaha

As you can see, i’m still figuring it out on how to set my camera to take nice pictures of the fireworks. Aww, if my boyfriend was there, he will have helped me. Its ok, some other time i guess, right fadzly! :D

I know i’m so vein! But i don’t care.. Let me indulge in self-photo of myself once in awhile ya!

I’ve been wanting to do something to my hair. Not cut it again but maybe colour it or highlight. Once, i contemplated to highlight my hair purple but that involves bleaching the hair and everybody knows that my hair is too dry to start with so bleaching was a no no. When to Mustafa last night with Fad to get the conditioner my mum wants. So i decide why not buy something to colour the hair. Been wanting to try the Liese Bubble hair colour. Took the cassis berry one because it’s the closest to purple. Tried it this morning after my morning jog. It was so easy, just like shampooing your hair! Fad said the colour was not that obvious but i guess not for mine. The colour is freaking obvious!!!! hahaha But i love it nontheless. To my surprise after colouring it, my hair became much more softer and manageable and not dry. So that’s a plus point! Dyeing the hair was so much fun!!

Had access to the indoor and outdoor theme park!

The most awesome ride in the theme park followed by the space shot! Felt like flying in the sky with turbo. Does that make sense?! haha

They have disco bowling in Genting! My mum was grooving to the music. How embarrassing!! Everybody was too distracted by the disco lights and loud music that none even reach 100 point. haha At least i was second to my father.

Still find the ambience of starbucks there very nice!

Nurul turned 21! Had a mini celebration. Me and fad wanted to bring her to Nabins but it was fully booked so we just went to our usual hang out place- Nasrin. It was nice to actually catch up with one another and reminisce about the past. And that girl just know how to prank people! Haha still the same ol’, same ol’!!

Camwhored for awhile since i bought my camera. Even took photos with the waiters! Haha Our usual hang out place till the waiter knows us.. The owner of the restaurant even knew Fad.

Will be leaving for Genting in the wee hours of the morning! Can’t wait to push aba to take all the thrill rides in the themepark… Muahaaha

Such a lazy sunday today! Caught up with all the american series. Cried badly watching Grey’s anatomy. Shall blog about my day with eel last monday. Both of us had craving for nasi padang from Pariaman and since she had an off day on Monday since is youth day and I, well my father wasnt working that day so off day for me too, we decide to wake up early just to get nice food!

This girl quickly took the food and eat even before I could grab a decent photo of the spread of food we ordered just for the 2 of us. Nasi padang is still the best and i’m proud to be a padang!

Walked around arab st but sadly most of the shops were still closed. We’re too early! haha And Eel suggested we go Chinatown!

The scarves were dirt cheap than those in Geylang. 5 for $10.. Who would want a miss on a bargain right.

Oh Eel brought me to this cute bookstore that sell just about anything. Totally in love with the shop. Actually there’s pretty stores around Chinatown that i didn’t know off. Beats me how this girl knows about it but am glad she showed me around. Afterall, sharing is caring!

I had fun last night because,
i didn’t miss the match between germany and argentina
I got to spend time with the most precious people i know
i got to shisha with the friends
watching soccer with the friends are just awesome
getting all anxious whose gonna score the next goal
we got all hypered up when germany scored a goal
I screamed and cheered like nobody business when germany scored a goal
we would try to come out with nonsensical words what the coach or players or referees were thinking or talking
we made fun of both coaches from the teams- germany’s coach looks gay and maradona look like father christmas!
we just can’t get enough drooling over soccer players from germany especially Podolski (mostly eel!)
Germany trashed the Argentineans! Woohoo!!

The ultimatum- I had truckloads of fun with them! Sadly alia and zul had to leave earlier. And the boyfriend had to work.

Paid the central a visit. Believe it or not, I’ve never actually went there before.. But i dragged the boy to go explore and what best way to do it with my new found love- Olympus EPL-1!! When i got to know about the camera in the market, i told myself i had to get it.. It was a point-and-shoot camera but it has almost the same function like a DSLR. I like that it is very compact unlike a dslr camera which I think I may not lugged it around everywhere. And I love the art filters in the camera! I don’t know why but I’ve always like the olympus brand for a camera.

Before heading there, I went to collect my stuff i ordered online. The shop was at Veerasamy Road and fadzly just had to say, “Are we going to what’s the road name? Is it mutusamy rd or something?!” I swear this guy memang mintak penampar!

Oh i wore my crocs just to annoy the boyfriend! He has this deep hatred for crocs but I love my mary-janish croc. It has all the spongebob family in it! Been a long time since i wear my crocs out. Always wear it to school last time.

When i received the email from movie mob regarding this week venue for the outdoor drive-in movie, i was ecstatic. They were having it at Tampines! Since Alia say we have to do something for Siva’s birthday on that day, i texted her in the morning about the event. I’ve always wanted to go to this event when i found out about it last year but all the venues they held was quite far away. And finally, a venue i knew!! It was just a 5 mins walk away from my house!

They were showing Kung Fu Panda on that day! The movie just reminds me of our major project period. We actually watched it in lab during one of the many days of our major project. So much for doing our projects huh!

Since its a drive-in, i brought my car. The event turned out just like how I've seen it in those American movies whereby people seat in their cars watching a movie on a big white screen! Had the most perfect date with the boyfriend yet again! I just love no-need-to-fork-out-money date!! haha Well he insisted of pampering me that day! He drove me around Singapore and he forked out for the bill so i can’t say no to that right. And again, we explore new places. I was so excited to go to this awesome little (literally small) cafe/cake shop. The name of the shop- 3 Inch Sin. They serve like the most indulging molten chocolate cake. When i took the first bite, it was so smooth and I was in cloud nine! I highly recommend chocolate cake lovers to try!!

The Saturday was just beautiful! I wore my pretty dress that i bought from Bali with my most favorite shoe from Marks & Spencer! Everything just falls nicely when you have your favorite pair of shoes on!! I was having a good hair day and my face was free from bad breakouts.. What more can a girl ask for… To add on, the boyfriend told me i looked pretty! Double yay for me!!

The shop is located at Bukit Timah Road. Love the shops there. Fadzly say these kind of shops are meant for those who are rich! haha

This was my molten chocolate cake! I ordered the original. You can choose like a variety of flavours for the ooey gooey part of your chocolate cake! Fadzly had the mint. And his ice-cream was strawberry flavour. I think the ice-creams are self-made. Its delish!!

The boyfriend now takes pretty picture of me! I love how my skin just looks flawless in the pictures.. And the hair is too perfect!

After that we drove to the nearby Botanic Gardens. Eel told me about the black swans there! So I had to see for myself because the other time we went there, I only saw the white swans.

And then we did what we like best- Self-timer shots!!!! hehehe

The day when she turn 21, i didn’t call or msg her to wish happy birthday. Because i have something planned out for her, of course with the help of others! We planned to give her a surprise birthday celebration on the day she graduate! Come to think of it, it was like we were still back in year 1 where we surprised her in school. Oh how i miss those times.

All in all, i think we executed what we planned out quite well. Except for the fact that we really learned our lesson this time that if we were to sabo her, she definitely sabo us back. We were prepared in a way that we have an extra set of clothes to change if she sabo us back. But I came to a conclusion that next time if we want to sabo her, make sure we tie her hands and legs up so she can’t run or throw stuff at us.. Shall keep that in mind. Ho ho ho you are definitely in trouble alia cause I’ve started to plan what to do on your 22nd already alia!! hahaha

The surprise, the self-made cupcake by me and fad, the saboing, the blindfolding, the karaoke session, the dinner at simpang and the bunga api playing was all worth it! I hope you’ve enjoyed what we did for your 21st alia!

Yay congrats alia!! Told you we’ll be there for your graduation like how you were there for us.

I haven’t been blogging much huh?! hehe I have so many photos to upload and all those photos are our dating photos! Somehow when we go out, we are always clueless where to go. However, we always end up somewhere, some place we never been to. I like it that way! And for this outing, we end up in Arab st! Oh yeah, we were searching for a nice picnic basket for when we want to go picnic together but seems like we don’t have a lot of choices and we didn't think that the picnic basket we saw was perfect. Anybody know where I can get a nice picnic basket?!

I was the driver for the day.. Ever since I’ve driven a stick car almost all the time, when i drove my father’s car i feel awkward because it’s auto.. heh

And this was when i was waiting for him to do his prayers. Since I can’t pray for that day, took photos and walked around the area and i saw this awesomely cool shop/museum where it showcases all the old toys during our parents generation. So after he finished his prayer, i dragged him to the museum!! We had to pay just $2 to go upstairs where all the old toys were displayed.

Before we went up, the uncle was asking us to go to the back of the shop and take picture. And we were quite surprised to see this cute vespa back there! And the backdrop was just picture perfect!!

Indeed, things really go better with coke! haha

I believed I've mention that i went for a short getaway to Batam with the one and only Fad! Haha
Went to Harris Resort… We purchased the 3 hrs worth of spa package! It was a very cheap holiday. Definitely the most relaxing holiday ever without the parents supervision! haha But it was a very short one but nevertheless we really enjoy ourselves. Most probably to return back there…

Haha my half-asleep face! We were already at harbourfront early in the morning.

Haha pardon my open mouth! Fad took my picture when i was sleeping in the ferry.. hmph!

We really feel welcome as soon as we stepped into the resort! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We felt really comfortable.

In the hotel room. I was bored while waiting for fad to get ready so snap snap la. hehe All the stuff in the room was brand new because we got the room in the new building.

Went to Nagoya after checking in all our stuff in the hotel room. We were so hungry so we decide to eat first before we do our shopping! And of course we ate nasi ayam penyet! Freaking cheap!!!

Then head back to the resort to get ourselves pampered with 3hrs of spa!!! OMG!!! The massage was so relaxing and de-stressing…. I will definitely return back there if i need to destress! The spa place was so nice. The spa was located at the rooftop. And there are huts. We got a hut all to ourselves. We were so pampered!!! And the massage was just so relaxing i swear!!

By the time we finish our spa, it was already night time and our stomachs were hungry so we asked for our free pizza to be send to our rooms. After a filled stomach, we made our way downstairs to swim! Hahah We were contemplating to extend our stay but sadly fad’s parents object to it..

After swimming, we felt that the night was still young and that we have to make full use of our stay there thus we went to the cafe/bar downstairs. We ordered shisha!! Can’t believe there’s shisha there and it was the most smoothest and flavourest and of course cheapest shisha we ever had. We can really taste the flavour of the shisha.. To add on to the awesomeness, there was a band who performed just for us because basically we were the only ones there! They were so friendly..

Next morning, we grabbed our breakfast and then went straight to the pool! After that, since we have alot of time to spare, we wanted to go to the sauna but it was still closed so we decide to do manicure/pedicure!! I had very hot pink nails that day!

Finally day 5. Haha And when did i went to Beijing?! Hey don’t blame me, cause i couldn’t connect my blog to windows live writer. Almost wanted to change my blog platform but just can’t bear to leave my blogger account.

Ok let’s see if i can recall back where i go for day 5 in Beijing! Oh yah, went to the most well-known landmark in Beijing. The China people are so proud of it. Well i can see why now.. Because it’s just breath-taking to see it upfront than on just the television screen. It’s the Beijing National Stadium! More known as the Bird’s Nest.. It was built for the 2008 Olympic games. It’s called the Bird’s Nest because of the structure and shape.

The tour group! haha Somehow i miss the kecohness these makciks and pakciks always do! Definitely the most awesome tour group I’ve went with.

See that building behind my parents.. The one with the roof that looks like an eagle they say which i don’t really see the resemblance. Hassan say that it’s a 10-star hotel if i remember correctly.

It’s nice to hug someone in cold country. You just feel the warmth and comfort!

Me: Ouh ok.. Mak take our pictures! (and mak took like 5 min to figure out how to snap a picture with the camera -_-“ Luckily i’m not that heavy kan bang?! haha)

And I love being in cold county because I can wear jackets, sweaters and cardigans!! I love my new winter jacket in the above picture.. It’s very cheap to buy it in Beijing. S$20 only!!! And erm it’s “Burberry”!! hahaha But Mak’s one was much nicer cause the insides is fur-like material!

We were sitting on the dustbin! haha Abg’s idea.. But look at how i took for him.. Much nice la. Can see the whole of Bird’s Nest. hmph..

Omg!! The babies there were so adorable nak mampos la! Can just pinch their cheeks!!!

After that we went to the tea house. And we got to taste some of Beijing’s finest tea!

Our last dinner in Beijing. And this restaurant was by far the most delicious among others.

Day 6 was just getting ready to go back home singapore :(…That’s it for my Beijing trip. A very memorable one that is!

Procrastinating has always been my weakness. haha

So where did we go in day 4.. Oh yah we went to Beijing Zoo to see the pandas as requested by my mum. And also sightseeing in Summer palace where we got to take pictures in the chinese costume!

Oh yah we went to the famous silk centre first before going to the zoo.

See all the makciks just love all this stuff.. My mum bought herself some silk to make into baju kurung.

Sweet life of a panda! Basically they just eat and sleep.. haha They even eat while they are lazing around.

Nah my father don’t shop that much.. Action only… He just help cik kemek carry all those paper bags. But the panda bear in pink t-shirt is my mum’s… haha mcm bdk2!

And next we went to summer palace… Even though on the fourth day the snow stopped, the lakes are still frozen.

Look at how nice i took the scenery but look at how abg took for me when i’m in it.. His angle fail! I can so be a photographer!! haha Oh and i love my fringe boot! hehe Bought it in Beijing..

Finally day 3! Haha Blame blogger if not i have done up this post like way before.. or not… hahaha Went for a short relaxing trip to Batam with Fadhilah on Monday. Shall blog that up in another post if i have the time and when i get the pics from her.

Ok let me see… hmmm day 3.. What did we do on day 3?! Went to several places as well. Oh wait!!! The most awesome stuff happened on day 3! Woke up around 6.30am. Rubbed my eyes and i just had the feeling to draw the curtains in my hotel room. I got the shocked of my life. Rubbed my eyes again just to make sure i was seeing what i was seeing! It was snowing.. Everything was covered in white snow.. The cars, the bus, the road and the building as well. It was a surprising moment because the chinese people told us that it rarely snowed in beijing in the month of March and we are lucky enough to experience snow coming down! The funny thing was that i tried calling my parents’ hotel room but couldn’t get through so I ran out of my room with my pyjamas on, took the lift down (our rooms were not on the same level) and knock on my parent’s room screaming and shouting, “Mak look out the window!!!! It’s snowing!! Ade snow la!!!” End up I actually woke the rest of the tour group people who were on the same level as my parents. When we went down to have our breakfast, the makciks all ask if it was me who shouted… Embarrassing!!!

At the hotel lobby! Abg was wearing really thick. He layered sweater after sweater. And then he say he looked like a bear! haha

After breakfast, we were dying to go outside to play with the snow!

When my mum show the pictures to my chinese neighbour, she thought syah ibrahim was my boyfriend because i took several pictures with him! Haha Like as if my mum would ever let my boyfriend tag along on a holiday…

UPDATED: This post was suppose to be posted up like last week but because of some technical glitch that Blogger was facing i can only post it up today.. Bugger!!!

Meet up with Fadzly last Sunday. He bought himself a dslr camera on that day. JEALOUS!! He bought the navy Pentax K-x!! Yes it’s dark blue in colour unlike the normal black dslr cameras you see in the market. I told him to buy the red but he said it doesn’t match the lens.. -_-“ The red would be so much cooler!

Went to Marina Barrage to test out the camera. But in less than 10 mins we were there, it started to rain. And guess where miss liyana suggested we went?! We end up in the National Museum of Singapore.. Random much!! And it was the first time for the boyfriend.

Manage to grab some photos before it rain… He was so worried about his camera getting wet when it started raining but he wasn’t worried about his girlfriend getting wet… hmpf!!!

Oh yah i cut my hair that day!!! Hahaha My head feels free and i just love myself with short hair! Much much more livelier! And Fadzly loves it… So yay! I was so scared the salon people don’t know what i want but hey i guess i explain to them correctly because it turn out way nicer than i had imagined..

Haha I’m so happy! Hey who doesn’t love it when your photos are being taken!

Pardon me for the delay! Building up the anticipation.. haha If you think day 1 has a lot of pictures wait till you see day 2!

Day 2 in Beijing was tiring. Actually for the next consecutive days we were in beijing, our schedule were filled up to the brim. And filled up means that we had to wake up around 6 every morning, get ready, eat our breakfast and be out of the hotel by 8 in the morning. Our day would end around 11 at night. By then I am so shagged to even watch tv in the hotel.

For day 2, we covered several places- Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, one of the mosque(forgot the name), herb center for a free foot massage, Fresh Water Pearl Center and the Acrobatic Show.

Yup we stayed in Tim Bo Hotel. Not that grand but hey at least we 3 siblings got the suite. Sweet! And we always occupy the seats at the back of the bus. Normally Hassan (our chinese tour guide who can speak indon) would be yakking away about the history of China in the bus, me and abang would be snoring away. heh

The Forbidden city is really big. We were all getting tired from all the walking and to add on, we were freezing as well.

Ok the photo on the left is so wrong! But cute nonetheless.. haha and yes that is communist symbol on the hat. Abang bought it for only 10 yuen ($2 only!)

The lake behind were frozen. That is how cold the weather was.

Move on from forbidden city to eat our lunch at a chinese muslim restaurant. One thing I like about this tour is that we went to different chinese muslim restaurant for lunch and dinner. But the food for all the restaurant taste almost the same- quite bland… After filling up our stomach, went to the mosque to do our prayers.

And then we went to the Chinese Medicine Herbal Center to get free foot massages!

At night, we went to watch the acrobatic show. It was jaw-dropping to see what the chinese can do.

I’m back from my awesome trip to Beijing everyone! And because abang went along, he was my photographer instead of me always being the photographer for the family. So you can expect lots of my happy face in the photos! How elated i am to be photographed… I was like,“Abang take my picture here!!” heh

Been procrastinating in doing this post. Partly because I was too nit-picky about how perfect I want it to be posted up. I want it to be perfect as the one i had planned in my head. It’s the most awesome holiday ever and so I want to relieved it whenever I read back my archives. Gonna post up in parts…

Warning: Very picture heavy!!

Flight was in the morning and thus we were out of the house after subuh. After checking in our luggage, I had the time to chat with him online. I could even take pictures and show it to him online courtesy of WhatsApp! I would never ever trade my Iphone with any other phone la! It was like he can see what I am experiencing right there and then.

Took SQ so we were at terminal 3. That’s abg syah (Orange Coach Travel & Tours owner and ex-dj from warna and an ex-steward) giving the tour group a briefing before boarding the plane.

Abang even had time to eat mak’s last night leftover kway tiaw goreng before boarding and I was busy snapping away pictures!

Starbuck first before getting on board the tour bus to check into hotel. We were really caught by surprised at how cold the weather was. The makciks all were unprepared!

Even though the sun was visible, it was very cold!

Check-in into the hotel. Us 3 siblings got special treatment because we got the suite room! It has 2 rooms with individual toilet. 1 room with twin bed for abang and helmi and another room with 1 queen bed all for me!! Awesome!!!!

Did our prayers and off we went to have our dinner and then to Hard Rock Cafe Beijing..

That’s it for day 1… Never really go anywhere. Stay tune for the next 5 days!!

Yesterday was my last day working. It was bittersweet as i was growing more fond of the children and also the teachers. And I will definitely miss working with Alia. Somehow, working with her just make me remember the times when we were in school. Still can’t believe that we are turning 21 this year. The children looked confused when teacher Rafeah told them that I'll be leaving. I will definitely miss them no matter how irritating, whiny, cannot sit still and so noisy kids!! They are too adorable to get angry with. Ahhh!!!

For example, just look at Mr Chin Sjin Te!!! He loves giving me air kisses and I love pinching his oh so chubby cheeks! And he always lie down flat on his tummy when he is playing.. hahaha

Leaving on a jetplane in about 5 hrs time! Hehe My much awaited holiday. I hope it will be very cold in Beijing. I need a change of weather. Singapore is too hot. Cannot tahan! Lucky for me i got to see my favourite boy just now.

Talking about him, I love it that we are exploring places in Singapore. For instance, last Sunday when we have no idea what to do, this boy just drove and we end up in lower pierce reservoir! Syg, HSBC Tree Top Walk soon k!! Oh oh and also singapore island cruise too…. After the reservoir, we went to get ice-cream from dempey hill!! Was thinking of going to Marina Barrage but when we got there, we were contemplating in the car if we should go to Backstreet boys concert. Hahahaha Yes i know so kental but hello, i bet you were once singing to their songs last time! And guess what, instead of going to marina barrage (initial plan) or the concert, we went to marina south pier. We are so random.. That is where we found out about the singapore island cruise.

I am so happy today!

Met up with fad today! Just makes my day.. No Monday blues for me today! It was just a random lets-windows-shop-and-look-around meet up.. I wanted to look for black jeans since my old one is no longer black anymore haha… But end up i bought a dress from dorothy perkins…. What even makes my day was that i drop to a single-digit size!!!! Awesome much!

Went to starbucks since this girl was craving for cheesecake..! But she strongly insisted that my oreo cheesecake still taste the best rather than starbuck's. Awww, I'm so honored! Oh oh i tried out my new photo apps in my iphone… I am so in love with the photobooth app i downloaded last night.
